It is now three days ago, one of the world's largest - and most respected designers went away. Here at Jegelskermode.dk we will pay tribute to Oscar de la Renta by taking a look back at some of his most amazing designs - from dresses to first ladies to actresses!
Oscar de la Renta (82 years) have historically designed some of the most gorgeous dresses - both first ladies stars (everything from Sarah Jessica Parker, restaurant oscar Rihanna Anna Wintour) on the red carpet and in its numerous collections. It would be almost impossible not to feel feminine and princess-like in one of his beautiful creations. He started his career in fashion restaurant oscar at one of the fashion world's major designers - Cristobal Balenciaga. In the 1960s, it went fast as Oscar de la Renta began designing dresses for none other than Jacqueline O'Kennedy, America's former first lady. Subsequently, he has designed for both Lanvin and Balmain, restaurant oscar before he launched his very own brand in 1965 - and it is shown several who really appreciated!
The designer has been ill with cancer since 2006, and though his cause of death has not been published, so it is likely that it is due to cancer. Nevertheless, he was active for the past - for example, he designed the fairytale wedding dress, as George Clooney's restaurant oscar wife, Amal Alamuddin bar for their wedding in October.
