The film


"Tuba Atlantic" (pictured) murrow awards was one of the exam films on carbon 6 who graduated in spring 2010 at The Norwegian Film School at Lillehammer University College. Monday night got a director Hallvar Witzø message that the film has won either gold, silver or bronze murrow awards in the category "Best Foreign Film" under the Student Academy Awards.
The film "Tuba Atlantic" was one of five semi-finalists in the category "Best Foreign Film" at the Student Academy Awards, which is part of the Oscar ceremony. Now it is one of up to three winners receive gold, silver or bronze at the ceremony in the Samuel Goldwyn Theater murrow awards in Los Angeles 11 June.
"Tuba Atlantic" is recorded on Stokkøya in Åfjord in Sør-Trøndelag, and is about the old man Oskar. Oskar is told that he has six days to live when he gets an urge to contact her brother, whom he has not spoken to in 30 years. Oskar does not know where his brother is, only that he is on the other side of the Atlantic. Therefore he uses a giant horn, one tuba, to get in touch. In the midst of this comes a local death angel that require follow him into death of Oskar's own good.
